Prince A. Sanders

[rev_slider prince] For over a decade, Prince Sanders has worked in various service industries from retail sales to food service to hospitality. He currently serves as The Hotel Manager for Trump International Hotel and Tower. There he oversees the daily operations of the 52-story building which is named the only Forbes Five-Star and Five-Diamond hotel and restaurant in New York City.

Prince began his hospitality career in 2002 with Starwood Hotels W brand where he served in a number of roles managing various functions and implementing W Hotel’s unique brand of customer service. In 2005 Prince became a Six Sigma Green Belt, gaining a certification, which qualified him to analyze and solve quality problems and projects. Always one to reach higher, in 2006 Prince also became a certified property trainer for W Hotel, focusing on the development of employees across the company’s northeast region, including on-property and in-bound call service centers
While serving as a property trainer for W, Prince conducted a wide variety of training courses under the moniker of The Language and Life Styles of W. Topics included brand history, basic service training, service recovery training and advanced service training that included the arrival process. During his five year career with W Hotels, Prince was a member of the opening teams for the W Chicago City Center, W Chicago Lakeshore, W Mexico City and W San Diego.

Prince continued his successful training career at the Ritz Carlton Hotel where, within his first year, he was awarded the prestigious Ritz-Carlton Leader of the Quarter Award for his commitment to service and his dedication to training. In the third quarter of 2010, Prince received the award once again, along with the 2010 Leader of the Year award.
Prince’s passion for teaching led him to conduct on-property training sessions, and also to create a training course that was adapted for Ritz Carlton properties across the northeast. In June 2008 Prince received his certified speaker certification from the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company’s Leadership Center. This prestigious certification allowed Prince to conduct trainings on behalf of the Ritz Carlton Brand in various programs such as Legendary Service at The Ritz-Carlton, Back to Basics: Ritz-Carlton Style, and Radar On, Antenna Up.

Because of his proven ability to lead with success, in early 2010 Prince was asked to assist in the development of training manuals for The EDITON HOTEL brand, Marriott’s new lifestyle brand in partnership with Ian Schrager. Over time, Prince was invited to serve as corporate appointed task force to aid in the opening of EDITION Waikki, EDITION Istanbul and EDITION London.

Sanders’s numerous talents extend to writing as well, as he is also hard at work on the children’s series The Extraordinary Ordinary Life of Prince.
